«There are places you carry in your heart forever. Living in Puglia means loving life and returning to live it as it once was, slowly, savoring every moment. I wanted to recreate a perfect cocktail of design, comfort, and slow living. A tribute to Puglia, to this land of ancient light that makes us dream and gifts us with the magic of unique and unforgettable moments.» (C.M.)
An exclusive refuge in the Apulian countryside, among centuries-old olive trees and stories passed down between the dry-stone walls.
Trulli Amabilia are known to the locals as Trulli Seppe li Serre, a name that preserves the memory of Giuseppe Argentiero, known as Seppe li Serre or Seppe ’u Padreterno.
A healer and “masciaro,” a World War I veteran, he treated people with herbs and the ancient knowledge of the farmers. But what truly made him legendary was his rare and feared ability to read the future, a gift he used sparingly and only when he deemed it right.
Seppe healed the humble, rejected the powerful, and openly despised the fascists. Yet when he was forced to help them, he placed one condition: the construction of a railway station in Pascarosa to break the village’s isolation. Thus, the small station was born, becoming a crossroads for those seeking his care.
Legend has it that even King Vittorio Emanuele III, fleeing from Rome in 1943, stopped to learn his fate. No one ever knew what was said. The king left in silence, his gaze somber.
These trulli are dedicated to his memory and to the mystery that still surrounds him.
A tribute to the memory, magic, and quiet strength of the Apulian land.
